On the surface, the Whole30 program rules are fairly simple. For 30 days straight, you're only allowed to eat meat, vegetables, and fruit. But that's easier said than done, because when you're following the Whole30 program, you're also not allowed to consume dairy, booze, grains, or even legumes. These rules can make coming up with a different, exciting Whole30 breakfast every morning kind of a challenge, because what is a plate of bacon and eggs in the morning without an accompanying slice of toast that's been slathered butter? And besides, there's only so many eggs one human can eat in 30 mornings, you know?

If you want to successfully stick to the Whole30 program, you can't just eat eggs for breakfast every single day. You'll get bored. Instead, you need a specific meal plan with clear options, and knowing some Whole30 breakfast recipes in advance will keep as well as prevent you from getting bored of your food.

Though all of these breakfast recipes are Whole30-compliant, they're also great for anyone looking to start their morning on a healthy note. So whether you're going all-in on the program, or just want some healthy breakfast inspiration, here are seven Whole30 breakfast recipes—one for each day of the week.

Banana Pancakes

Whole30 breakfasts can be sweet even if there's no sugar, like with these gluten-free banana pancakes with almond butter from Something Swanky.

Breakfast Hash

This Whole30 breakfast hash from Little Coconutty has sweet potato, potato, peppers, onion, and sausage. Top the hash with an egg for a little extra protein and yolk.

Sweet Potato Toast

When you're on the Whole30 plan, you can't eat bread—but you can eat all the sweet potatoes you want! So if you're hankering for some toast, try this recipe for sweet potato toast from Family Food on the Table. You can top it with anything you'd put on a slice of toast, as long as it's Whole30 compliant.

Frittata with Spinach and Tomatoes

OK, so this recipe has eggs—but this spinach and tomato frittata from Bravo for Paleo is anything but boring. It's made with coconut milk, rather than dairy, which makes it Whole30 compliant.

Sweet Potat-"Oats"

Oatmeal, unfortunately, is a no-go when you're following the Whole30 program. But if you're missing that classic, hearty breakfast, try this recipe for sweet potat-"oats" from Little Bits Of. All you'll need is a food processor, a sweet potato, and some banana to add some sweetness.

Banana Almond Chia Pudding

If you're used to eating overnight oats every morning, try making chia pudding instead. This recipe for banana almond chia pudding from Grits and Chopsticks is made overnight, so all you have to do in the morning is top your pudding with ingredients.

Pina Colada Chia Pudding

You can get creative with your chia seed pudding, even giving it a tropical twist, like with this pina colada chia pudding from Eazy Peazy Mealz. This recipe does call for brown sugar, but leave it out if you want to stay Whole30 compliant.
